At Trinity Lutheran School, we believe in fostering a Christian community where we can pray for one another in praise and petition to our heavenly Father. If you have a prayer request or prayer of thanksgiving that you would like to share with our school community, please post it using the form at the bottom of this page.

The most recent requests will show up on the school main page for others to add to their own personal prayer time. You can also select whether or not to make your prayer request public and if you would like to be personally contacted about it. All submitted prayer requests are reviewed by Principal Aaron Landgrave.

(Also note you will need to enter the onscreen code in the form to post your prayer request. This is to prevent automated spam messaging from posting.)

Prayers for Trinity School Community, week of May 15th
• Father God, we thank you for the beautiful spring weather that has finally warmed the Chicago area. And we can’t help but be reminded of the new life that comes from knowing You and knowing what You’ve done for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. By Your Spirit, help us to always find You in everyday examples and renew our hope and joy as we remember the comforting promises found in Your word.
• Lord, we continue to thank You for the mothers in our lives, especially those who have lovingly (and patiently!) raised and nurtured us since birth. But we also thank You for “the other mothers” in our lives who have also comforted us in times of need and demonstrated faith, love, and hope through their actions. Help us all to be good “other mothers” to the children of Trinity Lutheran Church and School in all we say and do, and let our examples inspire them to be a little more like You every day.
• As another school year draws to a close, we ask You to be in the details as everyone prepares for final exams, wraps up their studies, and enjoys some fellowship with the students of the 2016-17 school year.
• We pray for the comfort and care of everyone in need of Your healing, including Geri Muraski. We continue to pray for those dealing with cancer: Bob Bordak, Ted Bulthuis, Wilson Gregory, Janet Grimes, Margie Hammes, Bill Harris, Joey O’Shea, Aileen Mastney, Larry McIntyre, Joseph Ritson, Dan Stastny and Richard Tausini.
• We offer praise and thanksgiving for all who celebrate special occasions this week, including Matthew Gerhardt’s birthday.
• We continue to pray for the leaders of Trinity, for wisdom and discernment as they continue to interview candidates for our new school principal. Thank You for the success they’ve had in finding qualified candidates so far.
• We praise the name of the Lord our God. O praise His name forevermore. For endless days we will sing Your praise, O Lord our God! All praise, glory, and honor to You, Amen!
